BOUND LOTUS YOGA AND MEDITATION with TARA FARLEY: Thursday, March 10th

Bound Lotus is a restorative posture that engages the entire body by binding it into a symbol of infinity. Like many yogic postures held for an extended period of time, Bound Lotus can help the body relax and release tension so that healing can take place. This class will be split into three parts: a half hour of Kundalini yoga, a half hour in the supported Bound Lotus pose, and a half hour of healing meditation and Savasana.

The purpose of this class is to:
• Increase flexibility
• Open hips and shoulders
• Improve digestion
• Strengthen the nervous system
• Release obstacles from the mind
• Help to develop a natural state of shuniya - divine stillness

This class is open to all levels. You will be guided into the pose according to your body’s needs.
