Sirsasana, or headstand, is known by many yoga traditions as the “king of all asanas” because of its profound psychic, physical, and psychological effects. This can be a very challenging posture for many yoga practitioners. In this workshop you will learn how to approach a headstand in a safe and effective way, using proper body alignment with emphasis on how to work with balance rather than strength, variations and modifications, and much more.

The headstand workshop is open to beginners and to all who wish to improve their headstand. Anyone suffering from injury to the cervical spine or any other condition which may be contraindicative to a headstand practice should consult with their physician prior to attending the workshop.
