ABOUT THE PRESENTER: Mel Robin, author of A Physiological Handbook for Teachers of Yogasana, is a popular and inspiring teacher who taught in central New Jersey for almost two decades before moving to Pennsylvania in 2002. He’s been a student of Iyengar Yoga for over 20 years, having studied with the Iyengar family in India and California, and with Theresa Rowland and Raji Thron at Studio Yoga, Madison, NJ. Mel was a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff at Bell Labs in Murray Hill, NJ, for 29 years. Upon retiring from Bell Labs, he was the Director of Student Research at Science High School in Newark for 10 years. In 1997, Mel received the National Science Mentor of the Year Award from President William J. Clinton, the first such award ever presented to a high school teacher.
