PARAMETERS OF YOGA THERAPY FOR CANCER PATIENTS AND SURVIVORS with KITTY BLINCOE: Sunday, June 8th in Ramsey

An intro to the do's and don'ts of yoga therapy as it relates to working with cancer patients and survivors. Studies show how yoga can build muscle and bone, combat fatigue, increase mood and help reduce anxiety and fear amongst those coping with a cancer diagnosis. Not all yoga is appropriate during this phase of someone's life journey though. Explore Ahimsa (non harming) as it relates to working with this population. Compassion is not enough; knowledge is empowering - for you and your students.

Lecture and Movement. This workshop is for all levels.

Registration: $40 per person. $60 for both Sunday workshops with Kitty.
