These workshops explore the intricate functioning of muscles, joints and the lines of myofascia that link throughout the body. Russell shares his insights of how the myofascial structure reflects common postural imbalances and compensations.

CLEANSING THE BODY THROUGH QIGONG AND MERIDIAN YOGA with TARA FARLEY

Qi Gong is a slow moving, energetically stimulating exercise to help bring the body into balance. Meridian Yoga is a form of Yoga that works each organ individually for health and detox.

In this workshop, we’ll be practicing subtle yet powerful energy movements to help cleanse and strengthen the organs. We’ll also include pressure point techniques to help the body function as a whole.

PARTNER YOGA MASTER CLASS with KENT LINDEMER

Join us as we mutually cultivate the experience of flow, weight sharing, partnered inversions and balances to develop strength, flexibility and trust using the basic fundamentals of yoga, gravity and humor. Practicing with a partner can greatly enhance understanding, enjoyment, sensitivity and body listening skills. We will also explore Partner Yoga Flying, where one partner serves as a base and the other experiences being supported in a variety of positions, which will decompress the spine and give feelings of exhilaration and bliss!

DEEPENING YOUR PRACTICE, VINYASA INTENSIVE with RAJI THRON: Sunday, October 30th

Creative vinyasa sequences will take you deep into hip opening, twists, forward bends, back bends, fundamental arm balances and inversions. A full dynamic engaging yoga session including asana, pranayama, relaxation and meditation. For those who love a comprehensive practice and want to go deeper into all of its aspects.

Even if you're not used to a strong practice, alternatives will be given, with a stage-by-stage approach used to move toward the more strenuous/advanced poses.

YOGA AND AYURVEDA with DR. APARNA BAPAT: Friday, February 24th

This introductory talk on Ayurveda covers the 3 Body/Mind types (Doshas), their characteristic imbalances, and a brief overview of how each type can maintain balance. Using reference to every-day dietary habits and lifestyle, as well as natural remedies, Dr. Bapat will illustrate the art of maintaining balance and staying disease-free from an Ayurvedic perspective.

YOGA FOR HARMONY: A SPRING EQUINOX CELEBRATION. INTUITIVE FLOW & YOGA NIDRA with LYNN SCHOORL & AMY MATRI-PASTORE

Translated, Equinox means "Equal Night". The Spring (or Vernal) Equinox brings days and nights in equal proportions. As our Environment becomes more balanced in terms of day light and darkness, it is an optimal time for us to explore ways in which we can bring more equanimity into our lives.
